I'm not familiar with some of the items on your menu. Can you tell me their meaning?

Chutney (chuht-nee) - a spiced condiment made of fruits and/or vegetables and used as an accompaniment to a variety of Indian food like dosas and uttapams,etc.

Dosa (doe-sah) - a large sourdough crepe, crispy or soft, made from fermented rice-lentil batter. It is typically stuffed with a savory filling.

Lassi (lahs-ee) - "The Milkshake of India". It's a whipped date-sweetened blend of yogurt and ripe pureed fruit.

Sambar (sahm-bar) - a flavorful lentil and vegetables dipping soup.

Uttapam (oot-tah-pahm) - a large sourdough pancake made from the same batter used to make adosa.

How do I eat a dosa?

Indian food is designed to engage and delight all your senses including your sense of touch. To fully experience dosa eating at it's finest, please feel free to use your hands, dipping pieces of the dosa in the sambar and chutneys. Enjoy!

Where’s the meat?

While it's true we don't serve meat, we hope you find our food so delicious and nourishing that you won't miss it during your meal with us.

I'm a vegan. What can I eat?

You can eat everything on the menu except for the cheese topping and the India Jones filling.

I have certain food allergies. Does your food contain any wheat, gluten, soy, dairy or nuts?

Our food is wheat-free, gluten-free and soy-free. We offer cheese as an optional topping and use it in our India Jones filling. Also, our Organic Mango Lassi is made from dairy. Nuts are used in the Holy Cow filling. Also, we never serve nor prepare foods that have any artificial food additives, guar or xanthan gums.

Do you use microwaves in your kitchen?

No microwaves are used. Instead, we prepare food using good ol' classical French and traditional Indian cooking techniques.

Why don't you accept cash?

For speed of service and customer convenience, we are no longer accepting cash. We accept most major credit and debit cards.
